TrustPhone helps Android users identify warning signs in notifications, review installed apps, scan APK files, and understand phone permissions using information reported by Android itself.
We built TrustPhone on a simple principle: your phone data belongs to you. We only collect what is necessary to protect you, we tell you clearly what that is, and we give you full control over it.
In the current version of TrustPhone, all scam detection and security analysis runs locally on your device. Your notification content, app list, file contents, and usage data are not sent to TrustPhone servers.
To improve scam detection for all users, future versions of TrustPhone may optionally contribute anonymous threat signals to a shared intelligence network. If this feature is added:
Regardless of any future features, TrustPhone will never collect or share:
Warning history is stored encrypted on your device using Android Keystore AES-256 encryption.
Notification access (optional)
Used only to review notifications locally for warning signs. Notification content is never uploaded to any server.
Usage access (optional)
Used to show recently active apps on your device. Never uploaded.
Storage and media access (optional)
Used only when you choose to scan a specific file. File content is never uploaded.
App visibility
Used to review installed app sources and signals. Your app list is not uploaded.
TrustPhone shows ads through Google AdMob for free users. AdMob may collect standard advertising identifiers as described in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can remove all ads permanently through an in-app subscription or one-time purchase.
All purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. TrustPhone does not store your payment information.
TrustPhone does not sell your data. The only third party that receives data from TrustPhone is Google AdMob for ad delivery to free users.
TrustPhone is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by opening TrustPhone and going to Settings → Wipe Data. No account or external request is needed. Data is deleted immediately.
To request deletion of any other data contact us at support@trustphone.app
When we make significant changes to this policy we will update the Last Updated date at the top, show a notice inside the TrustPhone app, and require your consent before any new data collection begins.
