1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the TrustPhone Android application and the TrustPhone website. TrustPhone is provided by YS Ventures LLC.

By accessing or using TrustPhone, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TrustPhone.

2. What TrustPhone Does

TrustPhone provides practical Android security tools. Depending on the features you choose to use, TrustPhone may help you:

• Review warning signs found in notification previews
• Review newly installed apps and Android-reported app facts
• Inspect APK file details and requested permissions before installation
• Identify warning signs in suspicious links and sender-source information
• Follow guides for turning off unwanted website notifications
• Review storage information and selected special-access settings

TrustPhone provides information for your review. It does not make decisions for you, automatically remove apps, or guarantee protection.

3. Your Decisions Remain Your Responsibility

Security tools can be helpful, but no automated system can identify every scam, harmful file, impersonated sender, or unsafe app. TrustPhone may miss warning signs or occasionally flag legitimate content for review.

You should use your own judgment before opening links, installing files, sharing personal information, sending money, or changing Android settings. When in doubt, independently contact the relevant company or organization using a trusted website, official app, or known phone number.

4. Optional Android Permissions

Some TrustPhone features require optional Android permissions or special access that you choose to enable. These may include Notification Access, Usage Access, media access, and file-picker access.

You can decline or revoke optional access through Android settings. Features that depend on that access may become unavailable or provide limited results.

5. Notification Review

If you enable Notification Access, TrustPhone can review readable notification previews locally on your device for warning signs. TrustPhone does not read your SMS inbox and does not automatically remove the original notification.

Notification review results are informational. A warning does not prove that a message is fraudulent. The absence of a warning does not prove that a message is safe.

6. Sender-Source Checks

TrustPhone may compare sender information and website domains with a locally stored registry for selected commonly impersonated sources. Registry information may be incomplete, become outdated, or vary by region, provider, campaign, or service.

Sender-source checks are helpful review signals. They are not cryptographic proof of identity and are not guarantees.

7. Installed-App and APK File Review

TrustPhone may display Android-reported information about installed apps and APK files, such as package name, installation source, requested permissions, file details, and special-access settings.

APK file checks are not antivirus scans and do not guarantee that a file is safe or harmful. An app may behave differently after installation, after an update, or when connected to a remote service.

8. Website Notification Guides

TrustPhone may provide step-by-step guides for reviewing browser settings and turning off unwanted website notifications. Browser menus can differ by browser version, Android version, device manufacturer, and region.

TrustPhone does not control your browser and does not automatically change browser settings for you.

9. Ads and Ad-Free Access

The free tier may display limited ads through Google AdMob. Optional ad-free plans remove ads displayed inside TrustPhone only. They do not remove advertisements, browser notifications, or popups from other apps, websites, or services.

Google may process certain information for advertising purposes under its own policies. See our Privacy Policy for additional details.

10. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Donations

Optional subscriptions, one-time purchases, and donations are processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play displays the applicable price, billing period, and purchase terms before you confirm a transaction.

Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them through Google Play before the next renewal. Uninstalling TrustPhone does not automatically cancel a subscription. After cancellation, access generally continues through the period already paid for, subject to Google Play's applicable terms.

A lifetime ad-free purchase, where offered, means ad-free access for the purchased product while TrustPhone remains available and supported. It is not a promise that any app or service will operate forever.

Optional donations support continued development. Donations do not unlock additional security features.

Manage subscriptions through Google Play subscriptions . Refund eligibility is subject to Google Play policies and applicable law.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse TrustPhone. For example, you must not:

• Use TrustPhone to access a device without authorization
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt TrustPhone
• Reverse engineer TrustPhone except where applicable law permits it
• Use TrustPhone to violate the rights of another person
• Use TrustPhone for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes

12. Third-Party Services

TrustPhone may interact with third-party services, including Google Play Billing and Google AdMob. The TrustPhone website is hosted using GitHub Pages and currently loads Google Fonts.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. YS Ventures LLC does not control those services.

13. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of TrustPhone. We may add, change, or remove features to improve reliability, comply with law or platform policies, or respond to changing security risks.

We do not guarantee that TrustPhone will always be available, error-free, compatible with every Android device, or compatible with every browser version.

14. No Professional Advice

TrustPhone does not provide legal, financial, medical, emergency, or professional security advice. If you believe you are facing fraud, identity theft, financial loss, or an emergency, contact the appropriate bank, service provider, law-enforcement agency, or emergency service.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrustPhone is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

We do not guarantee that TrustPhone will detect every warning sign, prevent harm, or produce complete or error-free results. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YS Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on TrustPhone.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when TrustPhone changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when updates are published. Material changes will be disclosed where required by applicable law.

Your continued use of TrustPhone after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
